AGA seminars... The AGA is hosting live online seminars in a series where Celebrity Gemologists are interwieved in a relaxed way by friends. Attendees are able to ask questions. On the 19th of July the latest seminar was held when Richard W Hughes of Lotus Gemology talked to his friend and long time colleague John I Koivula. Swedish Gem AB now have an extensive FTIR database over Ethiopian Emeralds
Over the last year and a half we have collected over 500 FTIR and Photoluminescence spectra of both treated and untreated emeralds from the Shakiso deposit in Ethiopia.
